AMK Grief Recovery Care is a grief recovery program that embraces the concept of holistic grief recovery; addressing the spiritual, emotional, psychological, and physical scars that often remain after grief strikes. AMK will help anyone needing to begin their healing process and move beyond grief to a more enriched quality of life.

Therefore if you have experienced one or more losses, and you wish to move beyond the pain, AMK Grief Recovery Care provides grief recovery methods to begin your healing process. Marsha is available to conduct group sessions, pastoral care (grief support) training, speaking engagements, and focus group facilitation. Grief recovery methods address old beliefs about dealing with loss; how loss affects life decisions, and how to take new action steps leading to healing from the pain of current and past losses.

Grief can be a new beginning

 

Grief has another side. Every ending contains within itself the seeds of a new beginning. Grief does not have to hold you in its grip; you can move through it. However, you must take an active role in moving through your grief. If you want healing to happen, you must take charge and consciously begin to build a new life for yourself.

Grief is over when

 

Sadness diminishes.

Connection is made to the life of the Deceased, and not the death.

Spiritual Reality is comprehended.

The survivor has a story to tell.

The grief experience is valued by the survivor.

Thoughts are concentrated on the future rather than the past.
